AI & Learning · Public technical learning record
I keep a hands-on record of my networking, Linux and security labs, with progress and incomplete work made visible.
The problem I addressed
I wanted to move beyond surface-level tool use through repeatable labs, written observations and a clear record of what I have and have not completed.
What I built
- A documented lab environment using isolated virtual machines
- Progress records for setup and connectivity exercises
- A structure for commands, observations, findings and lessons
My role
I run the labs and document my learning process.
Why this matters to me
I use this record to show curiosity, documentation discipline and a practical expansion into security without overstating my current proficiency.
Decisions I made
- Published the learning process rather than presenting incomplete study as expertise
- Connected security work to existing networking knowledge
- Used explicit progress markers for unfinished labs
Challenges I handled
- Building repeatable practical habits
- Separating observation from assumption
- Maintaining an honest progress record
System signals
- Public learning record
- Hands-on labs
- Work in progress
- Documented limitations

Current limitations
- I still have several planned labs to complete
- I present this as an active learning record, not a claim of security expertise
