Flagship Applications · Company I co-founded · Current core product demo
I co-founded and built Gylow between 2018 and 2020 as a UAE esports community platform. It grew to more than 15,000 users, supported three UAE-wide tournaments and led to the sale of its core technology. I now maintain a current demo of the core product workflows.

OPEN FULL SIZEThe problem I addressed
My co-founders and I saw that gaming venues and players needed one shared product for discovery, competitive events, venue participation and community activity.
What I built
- Event discovery with emirate, game, type and search filters
- Event detail and RSVP flows
- Café profiles and a partner dashboard
- Player profiles, activity statistics and a leaderboard
- Product workflows that supported a community of more than 15,000 users and three UAE-wide tournaments
My role
I co-founded the company and helped shape and build its core product technology from 2018 to 2020.
Why this matters to me
Gylow is one of my strongest product records. I helped take a regional platform from concept into operation, grew a real user community, supported national events and later sold the core technology. The current demo lets me show the main workflows without presenting it as the original production service.
Decisions I made
- Modelled café, player and event responsibilities separately
- Built the current portfolio demo around the core workflows rather than presenting it as the original production service
- Separated the historical company record from the modern demonstration build
Challenges I handled
- Multi-user product modelling
- Coordinating event and profile states
- Designing a useful UAE-wide discovery flow
System signals
- Co-founded 2018 to 2020
- 15,000+ users
- 3 UAE-wide tournaments
- Core technology sold
- Current demo available
Technologies used
Current limitations
- I present the current repository as a demonstration build, not the original production service
- I currently reset demo data on refresh
- I do not present its authentication or backend services as production implementations
